Last night in San Diego

Yesterday was: sister and her family met me in Ocean Beach; breakfast; beach; drop worn out kids off at sister's house (along with worn out husband); buy running shoes (couch to 5K here I come!); tacos at a really cute restaurant; nap at my flat; then margaritas, gossip and ice cream waffle sandwiches (cinnamon waffle, maple walnut ice cream) with the girl who owns the flat.

Today was: chat with J; get actual cash from bank (yay my card finally works!); cherry crepe breakfast with sister; drop her daughter off at nursery school; Korean spa (they were kind of freaked out by how welted I was and I am really looking bad, I'm guessing I'm really stressed about what kind of situation I'm coming back to); pick up son from middle school and daughter from daycare; stop by yummy Mexican fast food place (they served carne asada to go); eat (early dinner) at sister's place; brother in law drives me back to Ocean Beach; nap; go for a walk and get distracted by pedicure shop; take newly blue toenails for a walk down the pier; watch surfers; ice cream waffle sandwich (chocolate waffle and coconut ice cream); then finish Love in a Cold Climate. I was kind of thinking about redoing my Linked In profile or something tonight but I think instead I'll go to bed, and if I wake up really early I'll try the first step of the Couch to 5 K program.

I have spent a lot of time thinking about moving here in the last 3 days. I think I like the idea of helping my sister raise her kids.

Sounding like a very pleasant time, despite the stresses. If you're going to do the first part of C25k while you're there i'd better get on it!
