Moving books

Interesting. Books can be sent with an "m-rate" bag - max 44 pounds per bag to the UK, $10.45 per 11 pound unit, minimum rate per 11 pounds.

Man, that's a lot of books.

I wonder what the best way is to mail games?

Yep, that's currently looking to be the $4000 option.

I wish I'd figured out the bag thing. Nearly all we shipped was books. (40 boxes worth). We made the horendous mistake of booking a partial container, it was only about 1500 or something but they didn't ship it for ages. The company told us it would take 6 to 8 weeks. So it was supposed to arrive end of September, it didn't arrive till January. And it contained all our winter clothes! It was a complete nightmare.

Actually, it's at a company called Betfair that does online bookmaking for horse races and sporting matches! A big change from what I've been doing but I'm pretty excited about it. :-)
