Well, I think America, I think ... really good tea. I admit that's not the first thing that comes to mind for everyone, but if you look at the icon for this post, you'll notice a tell tale white square on the "A" of tea. That, my dears, is the Marque of the Bag, the sign of a not particularly good cup of tea. I've been obsessing over Perennial Tea Room's "Red Peach Keemun," aka Hong Tao Mao Feng, and I haven't been able to drink it as much as I like and not run out. So I've placed what will be near to my last order of "stuff" for while I'm in the US: 1/2 pound of this leaf of black glory. I even found a review of it here. I shouldn't be surprised that there are other painfully mad tea geeks out there, but it's actually kind of a pleasure to find my own kind out there in the wilds of the World Wide Web.
Next question: how can I get more?
And finally: what do YOU want me to bring you back from the states? I have a bit of a volume limit, so please try to limit it to a bag of candy or Vicks Vaporub or what have you. If you want something fancy like an Ipod (which is at least small), tell me today and we'll see if we can work something out.
