A very nice summer night

It was gorgeous and sunny outside, and after a stifling day in the office, I thought drinking in the sun would be a good plan. So off I went to the Dove, where I was met by wechsler, keeping me good cmpany while shadowdaddy was at his company's summer party. We had sadly boring and expensive entrees (I guess the view justifies the price), then trundled down the sunny side of the Thames back home, smelling the flowers, ducking the joggers, and carefully hopping over the endless piles of dog poo.

Back home at 9, but I am already worn out at 10. I blame this stupid cold for wearing me out. I am pleased to say, though, that I did finish updating my resume tonight, and she had been sent out.
