shadowdaddy and wechsler at Wahaca ("I had a taco but I ate it"), then we went around the corner to ENO to see Aida. It was a good show, 'nuff said, satisfying my non-opera loving soul with it's, er, semi-romantic/tragic ending, garish, garish clothing (did Egyptian priests really wear gold lame?), and an audience member needing to be carried off during the final duet (she was babbling a bit, I suspect she'd collapsed from the heat).Anyway, perhaps a bit more of a review tomorrow. It's a brand new production and tonight was opening night so I'd really like to write about it more, but since we're heading out of town tomorrow and I need to get up early enough to do a LITTLE more packing, I need to get in bed now.
