I'm just a Goya who can't say no

Nice morning at the Prado, but we're arted out and ready for lunch (the half hour wait to get in didn't help our stamina; neither did the sangria last night). Now we're at "La Taperia," after leaving one restaurant (Maceiras) after seeing a huge crowd outside and then being turned away from one overly full restaurant and leaving another for its lack of veg options. Comically, three places we've visited have been closed for renovations, so we're wondering if I have a curse. We're skipping Toledo (and transport hassles) in favor of Parque del Retiro - the weather is too good to not spend it in the sun).
