In which I escape from the cultists

Okay, I really sympathize with Fa Lun Gung. The Chinese government seriously persecutes them, and other than being, um, too devoted to their religion to save their own skins (a sign of a lack of sanity in my book), they seem like really nice and harmless folks ... but that doesn't give them the right to subject me to two and a half hours of evangelizing (and making political diatribes) on my nickle. Review of Shen Yu Chinese Performing Arts Spectacular here. The nerve they had being from New York. I look forward to seeing something a little more traditional and a little less preachy when robot_mel and I go to Sadlers' Wells this summer to see The Peony Pavilion.
