After a wild week, probably the right kind of Saturday
Today after we got home from our rather late outing to the V&A (just for tea and scones) and then the Serpentine (for the Derek Jarman exhibit, worth going again to see the movies all the way through, and GOD it was cold outside but the flowers and blooming trees were beautiful), we came home and I made dinner: parma ham and nice ripe melon; bruschetta with bread from Paul; spinach sauteed with a bit of garlic and drizzled with lemon; and penne alla norma (eggplant, tomato, and cheese). I dearly wished my vegetarian friends were here for the meal (in which case I would have skipped the ham bit), but I did very much enjoy having a night in with shadowdaddy and wechsler. Afterwards we played a game of Bohnanza and I chatted with vorona, whom I was very happy to hear from. If I had a teleporter I'd bring her here immediately and spoil her as much as humanly possible. Miss you, Ivy.
