It's today

I look at my journal and see I've written nothing today, but I ought to have a sign off as I'm going to be primarily internetless for the next four days. I'll see if I can do a picture upload or two while I'm away - I hate not blogging.

Mostly what I have to say is, "It's today." Also that the Sarah Palin Africa thing was a hysterical hoax, please read this article, which is a hysterical commentary on the state of today's news media.

I'm supposed to believe names like Gorlin and Mirvish?
Were they behind the Katie Couric interview as well? Thanks for the link. I hope you have a properly relaxing and restorative trip. -em.

Seems it's a little more complicated than that - the original Fox story - ie, the leak - is not in question, which was run on the air at Fox, but the source for the story at MSNBC

Now, it's entirely possible Fox News simply doesn't want to own up to being duped - lord knows they lost sight of the line between fact and fiction long ago - but officially this only applies to MSNBC.

And in my humble opinion, if they are too ignorant to not know the difference between Harding (second worst president ever) and Hoover (there of course actually is a Hoover Institute) they deserve whatever they get.
