Final insult from Eclipse Internet

So, Eclipse would make us wait for 10 days to transfer our line to our new house - longer than anyone, including BT, needed to make changes to our accounts when we moved.

However, if we signed up for a "new" account, they could do it sooner - only the charges are now much higher than they were with our previous account.

So we are ending our account with them, but they are still charging us a full 30 days - for no use of their service.

And to top it off, they're charging us £20 for "ending the DSL service on your existing line," a fee which apparently wouldn't exist if we'd transferred services to the new line ... and something which I'm sure costs them next to nothing.

While I can't say that I remember the various terms and conditions of the contract, in general I fnid this way too expensive and a great way of ensuring I'll never use Eclipse's services again.

Hapless customer service rep: "Is there anything else I can do for you?"
Me: "No, thank you, you've already outraged me quite enough for one day."
