Three red ones, three different prices (tonight: 3.19)
So I bought a pile of red wine at the Sainsbury's on Saturday, in a hope that I could actually find something affordable and tasty. I wrote the price on each of the bottles. Tonight I opened the first of them: "Sicilian Red Wine," otherwise completely unidentified (not that the picture of the three running legs didn't kind of clue me in).
The bottle says: light and fruity, juicy black cherries and plums. The verdict is: drinkable, actually could believe this being served as a table wine at a cheaper trattoria in Sicily. Good enough for the price.
In a few more days I'll break into another bottle and report back the results.
