A taking it easy kind of weekend (silent movies, Kew)

On my way to dinner last night in Tooting I was telling wechsler about the dream I'd had the night before, about me and J floating around in a boat held up by a balloon and getting arrested once the boat had come back to land (water actually) for creating a public nuisance, and suddenly all of the dream made sense to me.

Home now and wanting a nap, though we're going to Kew in a bit so it shouldn't be for long. Then at 5:30 it's time to see a movie - yes, like everybody else on my flist, I'm off to see the 1923 silent version of Salome. I can understand why it's so popular and I hope that it's nearly as good as thee original (by Oscar Wilde) - as do we all!

Then home for dinner and some games, which will be fun, and tomorrow is God knows what (good title for a party?) but I've got a three pound leg of lamb that needs to get cooked up so there will be time spent in the kitchen, that's for sure.
