My joke is not your joke

I'd make an announcement here only people might think I was April Fooling y'all.

As it is, I'll say something true, which is: I just bought a ticket for my sister to come visit me for the first half of my stay in Orlando. I'm going to have bad jetlag and I expect her baby will keep me up, but hey, four days of her company. I'm going to want it.

We went to see Maurice tonight at Above The Stage and, well, it was episodic and jerky and I thought the mom in Spring Storm (the "lost" Tennessee Williams play we saw last night, link is to my review) was irritating until I saw the mom in Maurice. It marked soemthing like the 14th night in a row I'd gone out and, unsurprisingly, I called uncle at intermission and we headed back to Tooting. Conceptually I could be packing now, but instead, well, er, I think I'm going to fall asleep. Much housecleaning for tomorrow. Sicily will be a desperately needed break away on Saturday but the early wakeup will suck. Still, got a day 'til that ...
