Book meme day 4

4. The book that’s been on your shelves the longest.

I am pretty sure that this is my copy of Star Wars, with the corner of the cover torn off. I don't really have a lot of stuff from when I was a kid, but I bought this when I was in 6th grade and it somehow made it through all of the moves. I used to take it with me to the park to read when I wanted to escape.

But I may not actually own it anymore - I may have left it behind when I moved. I can't be sure. There's a lot of books hiding on these bookshelves. In which case, the oldest book I still have with me is the copy of the Scarlet Fairy Book I bought when I was in London when I was 14, the one my sister later colored in the drawings of.

The oldest book I read is "The Country Bunny and the Little Gold Shoes," but I bought a personal copy of that sometime in the last 8 years - the one I read (I think when I was in 3rd grade or so) was in the library at Indian Bend Elementary School.
