Two silly things, one silly girl

Today is the day I write the cases that test the plan that inspired the code that busied the devs ... which wriggled and jiggled and tickled inside her. I don't know why, I think I shall die.

Yes, I need more sleep.

Great article today on gossip in the New York Times. While I suspected that gossip is "important in policing behaviors in a group and defining group membership," I hadn't really thought about it "enacting a mutually protective ritual." And this quote was very thought provoking, basically saying, "You should gossip."

"We all know people who are not calibrated to the social world at all, who if they participated in gossip sessions would learn a whole lot of stuff they need to know and can't learn anywhere else, like how reliable people are, how trustworthy," said Sarah Wert, a psychologist at Yale. "Not participating in gossip at some level can be unhealthy, and abnormal."

I have more work to do but I'm just too tired to be productive right now. I'm going to go home and take a nap and see if I can get another two hours in later.
