Friday the 13th is my lucky day

Wow, I just got my first raise in at least four years. I can't believe it! And what was my boss' parting advice to me, my "take-home" about how I could do better? "Don't be afraid to be the leader." Holy Jeezus, have I died and been transported to The Land of the Peach Blossom Spring? (I thought for certain she was going to tell me to stay off the f'ing LJ!)

The Seattle Art Museum is showing a series of Hayao Miyazaki movies. Tomorrow is Princess Mononoke, at 1:30 PM. It's part of the Children's Museum's "Jump to Japan" series, which I see is having special evening hours for adult fans. I've been planning on going for a while ... I want to ride the cat bus!

Oh yeah, and now I don't feel like doing any work for the rest of the day. :-)
