I'm just a cock-eyed pessimist

I was off to the ballet with shadowdaddy tonight. I've written a review of the show, Birmingham Royal Ballet doing an all-Stravinsky program. I'm too tired to say much more about it here other than it was a good evening, though not brilliant.

Unsure if I'll be going out tomorrow or not - I've got two party invites and I just may accept the one that lets me get in some theater geeking - or I may stay home. We'll see. I thought about a cool costume (I could go dressed as the ocean, wearing the dress tonyawinter made me), but then on my way home I lost all of my enthusiasm and thought I should just skip it all.

November, based on what I'm wearing, is clearly leather month.

I hope I'm warm enough for punting! And that the rain doesn't just go wild right when we get on the boat ...
