Review, "Love and Information" at the Royal Court

For a play with such an interesting name, Love and Information turned out to be a real let-down. Someone described it as a play for the Twitter generation, and that's practically correct. Sunday was a mix of good and bad - I had a nice visit with eglantinedreams, attended the Bi Visibility event at the library with her, and had lots of cake. I think I've decided I'm never going to do activism in England - I actively dislike all of the three main parties and hate the idea of being subject to party discipline (I'm a free thinker, thanks), plus ... I don't feel like I fit in. I'd like to direct my endless energy toward something useful for society, though ... maybe increasing accessibility to transport to the disabled. Or I could go back to trying to increase access to technology education for women like I was in Seattle, although the situation seems different here and maybe it's not such a useful thing to do. Then the train journey was a horror - first time ever I've been on a train that's been sent back to the station - that resulted in me not getting home until after midnight. Boo. Ah well, I survived yesterday anyway.
