I will survive

Meeting with several friends the last few days and the message is pretty consistent, which is good. But don't your friends always basically say you need to make your own decisions, then support you? I worry about that. But Ann Landers and Dan Savage are on my side, too.

I'm thinking about maybe buying a house, and this has gotten me very excited. There's one down the street I could afford if I only have to do a 5% deposit. Whee! My own garden! All repairs MY problem! I can't wait. :-)

Got my priority list worked out. I'm still struggling with stress, a little bit will make me feel panicky, but inside I mostly feel much more stable. So: pri 1 is health, pri 2 is hold down new job, pri 3 is keep myself entertained and happy so I don't stress out. That's enough priorities for December and probably until January.

I should be socializing more this month - hopefully catching up with old friends, hopefully finding some people I haven't seen in a long time actually miss me and don't think I'm the antichrist. Did some of that this weekend and I really enjoyed it.

I feel like I need to have a t-shirt printed up saying I SURVIVED 2013. This really has been the hardest year of my life.
