Proof: the run mapped
I was slow but this is basically amazing because I couldn't run 600 yards (550 meters) for most of my life and this was WAY WAY WAY MORE.
Um. Yes. So pleased. :-)
Now the problem is that I'm finding running REALLY boring so I don't know to what extent I'll want to stick with it. However, one of the side effects I'm not enjoying of the sertraline is this kind of anxiety surge about 2 hours after I take it, and the running seems to take the edge off of it, but I may just stick to 20 minutes of running as that seems to be doable and not so boring. And it's exercise and it doesn't involve paying any money to do it, like going to the pool and Pilates (both of which I love).
However ... I could try for running 5K in 30 minutes.
Or I could try to run 10K. WOOOOW wouldn't that be something?
In other good news 1) J called me today :-) 2) people are giving me dragons so I can do this 3) I went up to the theater critic for the Guardian to thank her for her good tips and she INVITED ME TO SEE SHOWS WITH HER WOW WOW WOW 4) I started reading Matilda today and it is good. And I got this idea that I can probably get my sister through one year of college with the inheritance my grandma gave me (it's not very much but with student loans and grants I think it could make it possible) and I'm feeling less blocked and more able to help despite not working right now.
My doctor was sick yesterday so I didn't get to see her but will try again Thursday. And I decided not to finish the application for the job I was talking about yesterday because it is actually a consultancy and I don't want to spend 4 nights of the week in Newcastle. I want to be home.
And, finally, I get an eglantinedreams this weekend, and it will be very very nice.
