While play #3, The True Mirror, didn't hit it as Henry IV nation building, it was an excellent reflection on realizing your value as a female by your accomplishments. (True also for men but harder for women to see things that way.)
My first play after my trip was Next Fall, a comedy about having your partner go into brain death and not having their relatives recognize you because said partner never told them you existed. Yeah, it didn't make me laugh much, either. It had some great arguments about religion (in the context of a relationship between people with opposing viewpoints) but mostly I found this show frustrating. On the other hand it made me feel confident I should stick with writing, as I'm pretty sure I can write something at least this good.
