Also, I decided to join the Science Fiction Book Club I've been hearing irrationalrobot talk about for years. I mean, hey, it's not like I'm reading anything else anyway, right? This month's book is Mary Gentle's Grunts!, but since there's no chance of me getting it read before Thursday, I'm going to start off with July's entry, Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett's Good Omens, which I think I even own. Despite this, I do still intend, really really, to work my way through Absalom, Absalom, even though I'm only at page 30 right now.
Tonight the plan is Leave Work Early and head to Pacific Place to see Bright Future, one of the many Japanese movies playing at SIFF this year. I'm actually meeting my esteemed aquaintance Bret (of Annex fame) there, which I'm kind of excited about - it's guaranteed we'll have a good conversation about the movie afterwards. Then tonight I have got to work on cleaning the house - moving everything from the kitchen into the living room has created vortexes of chaos that I am finding very difficult to overcome. Aargh.
Okay, drat it, time to stop the blogging and get back in the saddle ... work, snooze, is it time to release this damn product yet?
