And again, a poll, because I'm still pretty excited and this is what's on my mind. Soon, I shall think about work. I've already made a list of things to do today and it's SHORT!

Aquanet 4 please! and what I really want from the States is a vibrator you can run off the mains, but I understand you cant bring them over here because our voltage is too powerful? You may have not be able to take Aquanet on the plane either now I come to think of it :(

See you soon

Your wish is my command!
It would be fun to hit Babes in Toyland before I go. Take a gander at their website, and if you see anything you like I'd be happy to pick it up. (I'm calling them now to figure out if the ones with the electric cords are compatible but I feel pretty sure they aren't.)

However, I COULD get you one and get the adaptor that goes with it (per the recommendation of the fellow I just spoke with). If you DO want one, let me know before the end of my day (some 8 hours from now), I will double check that it is in stock in the Seattle store then get it and the adaptor for you.

Oh yeah, and you're getting the hairspray, never fear!

I knew I'd think of something: the Fat Chance CD by Paul Heaton (of Beautiful South), and Have You Got a Name For It by Splendid (Frente's Angie),if by some miracle that's out in the UK and not just Australia.

Thanks!

Since I'm the one that usually gets drawn into a record shop like lint to linen, I'll take charge of tracking those down. =)

If you happen to come across one....
Okay, we've only just "friended" but I'll take you up on your offer. If you find a funky "british" tea tin, I'll totally recompense. If you find one with anything Alice in Wonderlandy (especially of the Cheshire cat or the Mock Turtle) on it... you'll have my neverending devotion. But don't go out of your way.

Re: If you happen to come across one....
Do you know that I'm a total tea fanatic? AND I have a collection of tea tins? Looking for one for you would be NO PROBLEM and would absolutely not take me out of my way. I was even planning on going to this silly tea museum just to be a geek.

I suppose this means I should bring the laptop?

I don't know - it's batteries are lame.
Maybe. I was just planning on using internet cafes. Is wireless easily accessible and/or free in London?

On the other hand we could watch cool movies on it on the way over. Wanna get a headphone output splitter over lunch today?

Re: I don't know - it's batteries are lame.
I don't know about wireless, but internet cafes are pretty easy to find. (Maybe a bit pricey during the day, but if you find one that's open late they get *real* cheap...)

But I'd be thinking that bringing the laptop would be useful anyhow. Of course, that may just be my computer-addiction talking. ;)

(Oh, since you're already talking about tea... I wouldn't mind some quality black tea, in the English/Irish Breakfast genre... and maybe some interesting/unusual flavors of crisps...)

Mind you, I certainly wouldn't take the time to do daily updates with photos if it was my trip. But as long as you're asking what we want...

I'm pathetic
I'm so friggin' addicted to the computer that I'll be surprised if I make it a whole day without going online. I'd be getting an imbedded chip if it were available.

Smashed coins!
What'd you expect, really? Here are the locations I found listed at pennyatlas.com for London, Englad. It'd be great if you could pick up any of these, but don't feel like you have to make a special trip, especially all but one of these have come kind of admission associated with them:

Tower of London (The comment at the atlas says: Located in the Royal Fusiliers Museum. Take British pennies.)

Tower Bridge Experience (The comment at the atlas says: One 4-die machine at top of walkway across towers and one 4-die machines before ground floor gift shop. Two generics on eachmachine. Admission required.)

London Aquarium—no admission! (The comment at the atlas says: A 4-die manual machine in the gift shop. No admission fee required. Designs, London Aquarium with shark, London Wheel, plus two generics.)

I am surprised there are no comments on the Monty Python...
I found it funny, and a rather obscure reference. I think most people are drunk or asleep by that time in the movie.

I think most everyone got it, based on the fact they overwhelmingly chose "Aaaaughhhhh!" But thanks for noticing!
