Tonight: House of Flying Daggers (7 PM at the Cinerama - movie 49 of the year, leaving me just three more to hit my goal!). Slip off to the ReBar to see the live-
Tuesday: either Family Karaoke night (a little "Ham for the Holidays?") or we'll just play games. Mail last two presents.
Wednesday: trip to Hokum Hall and its "Mighty Wurlitzer Pipe Organ" for Christmas sing-a-long, complete with root beer floats.
Thursday (off work): Nutcracker matinee, possibly trip to Portage Bay or Gasworks Park to see the last night of the Christmas Ships (you stand around a bonfire and watch boats covered in lights sail by, including one with carolers on it that pull up near shore so you can hear them sing).
Friday: as the little girl said, "Christmas isn't just about getting stuff ... it was about hanging out with people and eating, too."
Saturday: not sure about the day (want to go see Vera Drake), but I think in the evening we'll be playing games at my house.
Sunday: there might be something going on but I can't remember what. I'll probably try to squeeze in a movie and I'd like to see ampliatum before she decamps to the art school.
