I worked until 6 last night, and Worthy Opponent picked me up (he'd been buying some baseball tickets down the street at the stadium, looks like I'm on for a game for his brother's and WO's birthday) and drove us to the Seattle Art Museum. Unfortunately the Jacob Lawrence exhibit cost money to see, and since we were only planning on spending an hour there we bailed and went to the forth floor to see the exhibits there. Two of them were boring, but the collection of modern art assembled by Linda Harris was really cool (I'll write more about it later but I've got a ton of work to do right now). We polished off the night at the 5 Spot, where we had New Mexican cuisine that occasionally got it right but more importantly had the margaritas down perfectly.
Tonight we're supposed to see a Laurie Anderson show at the Moore, and tomorrow I'm thinking of going to Mount Vernon in the afternoon, then to see "Re-Animator" at Open Circle with my brother. Sunday is a toss-up, but I'm really leaning toward a Douglas Sirk double feature at the the Grand Illusion - over a Settlers of Cataan game with my brother, alas.
