A post about not posting! Ecce, geek!

So ... shadowdaddy and I were talking about the excess of time online we spend when we're together at home. (This was caused by a conversation I had earlier today with someone else altogether, which was held online, of course, Oh The Irony, but hey, at least I was talking about it in meat time.) To wit, since shadowdaddy got the wireless, most evenings that we're home we sit at opposite ends of the living room, him doing whatever on his laptop, me blogging or working on some website (or whatever). And I think, and he agrees, that this is how too many of our evenings pass. So we resolved over dinner to limit our time online when we're at home to some half an hour a night, which seems to be thoroughly reasonable but which will wind up crimping my posts' lengths at time. I think it's a good idea, though, and we're going to do it.

Uh ... so while I can do this, one more plug for How Loathesome, the graphic novel I checked out from the library two weeks ago (and will return tomorrow). It's very, very good, all about living in the now and living lives that don't fit into regular society's boundaries in any way. I liked it a lot.
