Recap of interview

Well, I wasn't offered a job BUT the one I was angling for opens in a week. She's more interested in me for a TBA position that would start in the summer, I gathered, and would probably be a much more interesting thing, more of a lead job with lots of challenges of the sort I love to tackle. Of course, I have no idea to what extent she's really interested in having me for either job - she seemed more interested in sussing out why I wanted to move, how long I wanted to stay, and (most importantly) whether or not I would be bored in the job she had coming up and, assuming I would, what else I might be able to do.

We shall see. I have to say I'm not really ready to move in a month even though I said I could; it would take a long time to get stuff settled at home and I would wind up living apart from shadowdaddy for far too long. (Cue violins and shot of me crumpling up in a ball, partially because of the cost of rent here and the fact I'd have to still be covering expense at home, too - as well as the Lonely and Sad bit.) I was there two hours and my schedule for the evening was all blown up by that and the inferior tube connections we made on the way home. B-movie soon: see you all there.
