Final rehearsal on Dexter

Tomorrow we're starting our rehearsals at the Seattle Rep. Apparently they call this stage of the production "Hell Week" and tempers are expected to get short. We started tonight with a costume parade, which was all of us trying on all of our clothes for the director and the costumer. I got to wear my newly completed "aesthetic" outfit, which is an irridescent rust gown with poofy, elbow length sleeves and a purple, floor length, open tunic over it (it will be clasped with a silver chain, not yet added). Apparently my Victorian day dress wants me in a corset underneath it, so I'll be bringing it in and having it relaced with something that won't try to come out of the back of the dress.

We got out quite early tonight after doing the dance-off (I got every step right tonight!) and the "Merry Cymbals" bit, and I took advantage of my free time to buy some new cross stitch kits. Yes, I've apparently lost my mind, as I got about 6 different pieces. What a horrible habit to pick up! I'm so close to being done with the one I've been working on since this show started that I'm actually worried this won't show up before I'm done. I got very little work done tonight, but there's still a lot of rehearsal left to go and this lovesick maiden wants to be stitching her way through it.
