This constitutes my planning for the day

This year's Thanksgiving menu:

Roasted "American Heritage" Bronze turkey (the kind that can reproduce naturally, and fly)
Cornbread stuffing of some sort (I imagine with sausage and green apples in it)
Cranberry, ginger, and lemon chutney
*Rabbit stew (courtesy of poh)
Sweet potatoes with honey and lime
Kale with garlic and bacon
Mashed Yukon gold potatoes and turkey gravy
Chocolate pecan pie
*Pumpkin pies (brought by guests)

Possible additions:
Baked squash stuffed with basmati rice dressing with dried fruit, toasted almonds, and coconut (if there is a vegetarian coming over, but I think this won't be the case)
*Creamed corn gratin with fried onion rings and bacon
*Cheddar-herb biscuits
*Black walnut ice cream (home made)

* = I don't have time to fool with this but would enjoy seeing it at my table nonetheless.
