Well ... packing for a trip to London during the winter is a scary thing. There's such a wide variety of possible climate related things to anticipate (and it's gone from the mid-forties to the twenties since I've been here), plus dressing to go out. But I think I've done pretty well, as after 2 1/2 weeks away from home I don't feel like I'm quite at the crisis point, though I think I may be experiencing a sock shortage (which is funny if you consider I have aquired four new pair since I've been here - and I've worn them all). I've actually got two shirts I never wore because they were too lightweight, but, well, it's not like they took up a lot of room in my luggage, and I think I might wear the red velvet paisley one today.
Home again, home again, jiggety-jig. You just know I'm going to spend the next four to six months feeling still split between two continents. I should set myself a deadline for the visa application - I need to get moved and I need to do it pronto.
May have one last post after all the crap is stuffed into the luggage and I've taken a shower - I really must get this red glitter out of my hair.
