Bowling and work

The Q** event was ... well, it was barbequed ribs. I bowled a 26, if that means anything to you. If it doesn't, I'll say I watched my score stay the same for a very long time. I got lucky and was able to get sallysimpleton to go with me at the very last minute, when I was sitting around and realized that you could bring someone beside a spouse. I figured she'd like ribs, being a Southern girl and all, and she beat the ass off of the other people bowling in our group. And I felt very distanced-ironic over the whole event (ooh, look, another t-shirt for me to garden in), given that I've worked maybe a total of 10 days (over the last 5 weeks) for these guys and am still actively seeking work elsewhere. I got a note from a friend of a friend about a job in her group at *$$, maybe this one will actually work out.
