Downshot of good night

Er. Ahem. I think I left my leather jacket in Maekawa. How irritating!

*miss*
I am in Michigan, otherwise I'd probably ask to sleep on your couch and make pancakes in the morning or something.
I realize the more I am out here how most people my age bore the hell out of me and are self obsorbed and annoying and lazy. I want to go to art shows and the theatre and I want to watch weird movies and eat out. I don't want to get drunk and makeout with another chick in an attempt for attention and I don't want to get high and sit around and talk about how cute your shirt is or how shallow people around here are, even though you seem to be one of them, chick.
In other news: I've always wanted a leather jacket but I can never find one I like except for this boy named Danny's; his fit like a glove. He was never drunk enough for me to "misplace" it.

Give shadow a pat for me.

Re: *miss*
I had a reply to this sitting on my computer all day at work but I got so busy I never posted it.

The best leather jacket I ever saw belonged to a girl that stayed on my couch for about four months when I was in college. I kicked her out, but when she came back to get her stuff, she unfortunately remembered the jacket. It was a little bit green and really soft and it looked fantastic on me. This one was $15 and I got it at Goodwill. I spent a year and a half looking for a new leather jacket at thrift stores and this was the one I finally went for. Wish like hell I knew what I did with it.

Are you saying I'm shallow because I talk about buying underwear and stuff? I guess I'll cop to that.

The sad thing is you're going to realize as time goes by that most of the people in the world (not just the ones you're hanging out with) are boring and self-absorbed and annoying and lazy. Later they'll just be talking about their kids instead of themselves. Finding people that actually give a shit and try to do something besides sitting at home and watching TV is really hard work. That's why I think you're cool and worth hanging out with despite the fact you're, what, practically 20 years younder than me? It's cool, though, because you'll find yourself like me, friends with people who are (still) 20 years older than me, but with even more life experience. I think you had a nice crowd to hang out with in Anacortes.

You ever coming back? I'd love to have you on my couch.
